Slug Pellets Ban
Slug-killing pesticides containing Metaldehyde, the popular ‘blue pellets’, have been banned in the UK for garden use from Friday 1 April. It has been ruled that the ingredient poses “an unacceptable” risk to birds and mammals such as hedgehogs.
